Farmhouse Chair

My house is a Villa built in 1911 and has a lot of its original features. Most of our furniture suits the era and style and I’m always on the lookout for vintage pieces to restore and upcycle. So I found our dining chairs on a second hand website and had to have them. I loved the shape of the back and they were in solid condition.

Once I got them home I felt they just needed a little something to give them some character and farmhouse style. So with a simple sand of the legs and 2 coats of low sheen white enamel they were complete. It was a small and easy job but really makes a worthwhile difference to the look.

  1. I’m impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I encounter
a blog that’s equally educative and entertaining, and let me tell you,
you’ve hit the nail on the head. The problem is an issue
that not enough folks are speaking intelligently about. I’m very happy I came across this in my search for something regarding this.
