I found some old plywood tables at my local op shop. Very wonky and worn to start out, yet with so much potential. I filled in the holes and divets with some plaster filler, a good sand and a fresh coat of paint was all they needed.
I used bright orange water based enamel as a full base cover. Gave the tables a hard sand to give them a distressed coastal beach look. Then on the top used a small roller to apply soft blue water based enamel with cornflour blue and topaz green chevron accents.
Im really happy with the overall retro look. Hope to sell these at the local market next month along with some more I’ll be adding to the collection.
